About Us
When we say Maryland Style Marble & Granite is a family owned and operated, we meant it.
Adailson, the patriarch of the Coelho family, started his career working at a quarry in Massachusetts (top picture of the left). There, he learned how to safely operate the forklift, acquired cutting machinery skills & polishing techniques. With 35 years in the industry, today he is our fabrication manager, inspecting inch by inch of every slab delivered, cutting all projects himself, and overseeing that every project is done to his high standards.
Marcelo, his son, has worked side-by-side with him since he was a teenager. He started as a template builder, and today he is our head of installation - that is over 15 years of experience we bring to your home.
Sabrina, his daughter, has a business degree and took over the family's business administration five years ago. With a great eye for style, she invested a lot of time learning more about construction and is now also the company's head designer.
